ExcessBox is a website listing the items for sale by one individual, thats me. Every ad that you see on this site is by me. Its not a site where people can post their ads. Only I post here.
I buy a lot of stuff. Some because I need them. Some because they are cheap. Some because they are good. Some because there is a deal. Idiotic, but that happens with me(i'm sure with many others too), specially with tech stuff. I have phones that I never used, I have phones that I don't use any more, I have laptops that I only used a few hours, I have keyboards/mouse etc that are in mint condition, I have chargers/cables of my old stuff. I cant list them all and sell them in classified websites because of limitations. I will be listing the stuff I have for sale/giveaway in this site.
I spend hours taking photos and writing descriptions clearly. Sites like olx/quikr deleted my ads just because they assumed the photos I posted are copied from internet. After facing such things a few times and realizing the time spent on the description is wasted, I came up with the idea of my own site. Even when the ad on classified website is active, it will get buried as others post newer ads and to be on top the classified websites need to be paid.
So I came up with the idea of my own site. I know the response here will be very limited. The item will sell when it sells, but I at least do not have to keep checking/updating the ad or deal with useless responses. If the people who bought from me are happy with the honesty in the ads, they will definitely check back and spread the word about the site.
All my ads will carry honest and clear description, mostly with pictures. I generally include every detail I remember and everything thats included in the sale.
