Canon Parallel Port Flat Bed Scanner

Scanner is in Excellent condition. I mentioned "Untested" because this hasn't been used in years.
This is a flat bed scanner lying unused at home since years. This is a parallel port scanner and none of my laptops have a parallel port, so I can not use it. Like new, no issues faced but it was last used many years back. It was kept inside the cupboard and hasn't even collected dust. Looks new and I'm atleast 99.9% sure that it works without any issues even today.

I bought this many years ago to scan some old and important pictures at home. I didn't have a multi function printer back then and I didn't want to take the old/delicate pictures out to get them scanned. So bought this and scanned the old pictures. After that it was used on one or two more ocassion. That's it.
When I wanted to use it again, I realized that my new laptop did not have the required port to connect. Yes, this is a parallel port scanner. I changed many laptops after that but none had a parallel port. I do not think laptops come with a parallel port any more.
So there was no way I could use it and eventually moved to multi function printers. This has been lying inside the cupboard all the years. I haven't cleaned the exterior or the flat bed glass even once till now and it still looks like new, fresh and just out of box.
It is a slim flat bed scanner, LED based. Comes with an external power adapter, the original one that came with the scanner. You need to have a parallel port on your laptop/desktop to use this. Does not work with USB port unless you have a USB to Parallel bi-directional cable. This is a slim scanner and looks cute too. It is much slimmer than the regular desktop flat bed scanners. It may be little more than an inch in thickness.
I haven't used it in years, but as far as I can see and understand, there are no parts in this scanner that can deteriorate because of non usage. Moreover it was not exposed to heat/light. The only things that may come off are the rubber feet below the scanner. They still look good, but being rubber and old I'm sure they will give up if dragged etc. Everything seems to be intact and like new.
If you are planning to buy it, make sure your laptop/desktop has a parallel port, otherwise you may need a usb to parallel port bi directional cable which itself may cost as much as my asking price for this scanner. If already have the required cable/port, great.
